Work Free

On November 12, 2010, I officially worked the last day of my employment in politics. I retired. My retirement if actuallly effective March 1, 2011. I will burning time on the books until that date. No more getting out in the cold, no more falling on the ice walking up the sidewalk that hadn’t been cleaned good, and no more dealing with the gay fucking bitch I devoted my life to since she hired me eleven years ago. 26 years working a position ruled by friends, illegal acts, lies and deception. I am left with 70 days to go before my retirement date. 26 years I worked 7:30 to 4 pm. On day 71 the bitch revoked my hours and said you work 8 to 5. I said kiss my ass and promptly resigned. They called me back to work and I kicked her ASS. Wait till the retirment check arrives. Someone is losing their bar license. I kid you not. Love to all out there that cares. Happy birthday Jorsebeck. I’ll be posting again as soon as I can.

CATAGORIES: WEEK IN REVIEW — FloridaBill @ 9:04 am

File under: Black Friday is nearly upon us!

WTF is this: (I added the photo via the gallery above, but the image uploader is wonky again)

If this is what they did to Tom Sawyer, imagine what Huck Finn got from the TSA!

Even the TSA would have had a hard time with this group. Unreal. What a trajedy.

I wish someone would stomp the Reverend John Fiala to death. He is our Fucktard of the Week. As if molesting the kid wasn’t enough, now he wants to kill him. What an evil scumbag.

This is very very scary. In light of the reinvigoration of the Korean conflict, here is a piece from LIFE magazine that I found pretty interesting. Technically, they are still at war.

Happy Birthday this week to Terry Gilliam, the American of Monty Python fame.

Go visit the Thanksgiving 2010 cartoon by Matt Wuerker @

Enjoy your freedoms and great holiday weekends to all.

CATAGORIES: WEEK IN REVIEW — FloridaBill @ 8:55 am

File under it’s nearly Thanksgiving already and I will be hunting pheasants tomorrow.

Some pretty cool micro-photos at this slideshow

This looked like something out of a 70’s Irwin Allen disaster movie (The Towering Inferno).

How about those Bears against the Vikings last Sunday? Tonight they play the Dolphins. If they play as well as they did against the Vikes, they will retain the lead in the NFC North. An even better football story was the Redskins-Eagles game on Monday night when Michael “The Pit Bull” Vick broke all kinds of records.

I love me some Nick Saban, but did he really spank a player on the sidelines during the Mississippi State game? Roll Tide.

This was the eww story of the week I think.

This picture may represent a close second:

At his request, Mark Twain’s autobiography was released this week, 100 years after he died. I also heard on NPR that Johnny Depp is doing the audio release of Keith Richard’s new book.

Speaking of Rock Stars, outgoing Florida Govenor Charlie Crist wants to pardon Jim Morrison for the indecent exposure charge he was hit with in 1969. Morrison died in 1971.

This is a quirky story. You suppose they shot each other simultaneously?

Why is Four Loko such a big deal? Haven’t we been drinking Rum & Coke and Irish coffee for decades, if not centuries (at least the Irish Coffee)?

Finally, my nominee this week for Fucktard of the Week: Charles Rangel. I have no choice but to also nominate Eric Holder as a Fucktard this week because of this.

Enjoy your freedoms and great weekends to all.

One of the coolest golf holes I have ever played. Parred it.

CATAGORIES: WEEK IN REVIEW — FloridaBill @ 9:06 am

Something is wonky with the image uploader…

Did you see these new home upgrades? I want them all. Some very cool stuff.

The Giants won the WS. Importantly, without Barry Bonds.

The WTF headline of the week? How about this one? This one ranked second. Not a too distant third was this BBC headline about the President’s reaction to the election results.

The formal election results from Tuesday are still being tabulated in some parts, but it looks like there was a clear mandate by the electorate: stop effing around and get working on the economy. The surest sign? Mark Kirk, a republican, won the seat formerly occupied by the President. The biggest disappointment: Harry “Balls” Reid won again in Nevada. What is wrong with those people?

RIP to Sparky “Captain Hook” Anderson. When I was a kid, the Cinncinnati Reds “Big Red Machine” were huge. I recall seeing Johnny Bench, Pete Rose, Joe Morgan and others at Lopez field in Tampa for Spring training when Sparky was the manager of the team.

From the “I hate it when this happens” file comes the story of the Airbus 380 that lost an engine. Then, there was this crash in Cuba. Not good.

I travel to San Antonio next week for a conference. Anyone know any good hangouts on the Riverwalk?

This is one of the best things that Roger Ebert has ever written IMHO. I admit, I do have a personal bias… WARNING: NSFW!

Finally, as my gift to you, I give you 100 of the hottest cheerleaders in the NBA. Also, potentially not proper for work.

Enjoy your freedoms and great weekends to all.
